“I only had the opportunity to stay here for six months for a work visit, but in that time, I discovered this place in Morgantown was quite a gem. Before I moved there, I was in touch with Keenen, who helped me find the furnished apartment that would work best for me and answered all my questions. He further introduced me to other residents there and ensured I felt acquainted. If there were any maintenance issues, Cyle would be on it the same day. I would recommend this place to anyone moving to Morgantown, either short or long-term. Also, don’t forget to check out the rooftop!!” -Al K.
“This is a great living community. The amenities are excellent, and the management team has almost always done a great job of accommodating our needs. The other tenants are usually really friendly, and it’s great if you also have a dog. Reviewing reviews, you will see some of the challenges the property has been through during ownership/management changes in the last couple of years, but the team here has done a good job this year. The amenities are top-notch for any complex in the area and are always well-kept and maintained. The staff are amazing and can always help you out promptly and efficiently to fix any issues. “I have been living at black bear since May, and I wish I had moved here two years ago. Friendliest staff I’ve ever experienced at an apartment complex, maintenance comes the day off (which I haven’t needed more than once), most amazing amenities, which are always well maintained, and the list goes on and on. I have told many of my peers in my master’s program how great this place is, and I would recommend it to anyone. My mom refers to black bears as “the spa,” which is truly what it feels like. The prices are comparable to downtown apartments, but you get so much more at this place than at any other place in Morgantown. Wish I could give more than five stars.” -Allison G.
